Media Life is a creative marketing and digital media communications agency based in Cork, Ireland.

Sharon O’Donoghue

Sharon has significant experience and expertise in entrepreneurship, marketing, and brand development. She has worked in the hospitality and communications industry since 1999.

A business graduate of IT Tralee, Sharon also holds the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) Diploma in PR and the Institute of Marketing, Diploma in Digital Marketing.

Sharon is a former board member of Brook Foods, where she also held the position of Sales & Marketing Director from 2005 until 2016. She was also former Marketing Director of the Rose of Tralee International Festival, and Sales & Marketing Manager of The Earl of Desmond Hotel. She was named ‘Network Cork Business-Woman’ and ‘Network Ireland’ AIB Businesswoman of the year and was elected the first female president in Rotary Ireland in 2011.

In her down time, you will most likely find her at home in her beloved Kerry, at a GAA match, or out walking and climbing mountains.

Ronan Horgan

Ronan is responsible for the traditional marketing side of the business as well as ensuring the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis. He has previous experience working in a marketing position with Brook Foods, a brand ambassador role with Na Cuana Alcohol Group and as a Key Account Executive with Diageo.

Ronan graduated from UCC in 2015 where he studied Food Marketing & Entrepreneurship. He then went on to complete the IBEC Global Graduate Placement Programme which blended the practical aspect of working in an international business environment for 18 months with Na Cuana, while also working towards a postgraduate diploma in International Business Development from DIT.

Ronan is a passionate sports fan, with Manchester United particularly close to his heart. He loves to travel and is also a big theme parks and Disney enthusiast.

James Duggan

James began working with Media Life in February 2018 as a Marketing Intern on college placement. After working in various marketing roles within the company, James looks after all things digital including clients’ website optimisation and maintenance along with their social media.

James graduated from Cork Institute of Technology 2019 with a Level 8 Bachelor of Business in Marketing. James has recently just completed a QQI Level 5 in Digital Marketing to further develop his professional career.
Outside of office hours, James loves to travel - even if it is just around Ireland. Having spent a summer working in California managing social media for a jet-ski company, you will more than likely find James on the water or trying to find a hidden gem along the Wild Atlantic Way.
